2002 © WFP/Lena Savelli

In 2002/03, WFP food aid saved 2.9 million Zambians at risk of starvation. One year on, the crisis is over, but WFP has launched a campaign to make sure there is no repeat.

In this special series, Lena Savelli reports on two special initiatives which rely on two channels of communication - the stage & national radio - to increase national awareness of long-term threats to Zambian food security.
