115 of the Norwegian trucks are destined for Zambia, 60 will go to Malawi and a further 25 to Lesotho. 10 long-haul trucks are headed for Zimbabwe. WFP is responsible for co-ordinating overland and cross-border movements of food aid for the entire southern Africa operation. It will liase with the SADC and commercial transport industry to avoid bottlenecks along the key logistics corridors. Copyright: |
